In a recent post from the PlayStation Blog, co founder of Ready at Dawn Studios, Ru Weerasuriya is interviewed about the new PlayStation 4 IP - The Order: 1886. The game will be "a third person action adventure with shooting mechanics." He says that the game is going to be heavy on the story. PlayStation blog asks: "What aspect of the game do you think will make gamers say “Woah, that’s new, I’ve never seen that before”?" In response Ru Weerasuriya replies back, "There are gameplay features we’ll be talking about that will be very, very cool." I am very excited to find out what kind of "cool" material they have in store for us. We have yet to know much about The Order: 1886; details are scarce. But now we know what kind of game it is going to be and where it is going to take place.

Dice is wanting 60 FPS, epic 64 player battles in Battlefield 4 on the next gen consoles

Patrick Bach, the executive producer for Battlefield, spoke with Eurogamer and said, “We have a very complicated game with a lot of moving parts. We had to decide, yes, we will do this in 60FPS. Everything else is secondary."

“We know the game is great when you have 64 players and destruction, and if we could get what we had on PC for a long time in your living room with a pad, wouldn’t that be amazing? That’s what we’re aiming for.”

For a long time console gamers playing Battlefield 3 did not have the same luxury experience PC gamers had on Battlefield 3, but it seems like DICE is looking to change that with the new next generation hardware that allows them to do so.

It will once again feature Faith as the main protagonist from the popular first Mirror's Edge and other new features will be added in like an open world to explore in.
